And so it will be with The Last Hours, after being so pulled with Chain of Gold, I know how my heart will shape with the others.īut enough of that, this one is about the first book in The Eldest Curses, The Red Scrolls of Magic. My opinion of the Shadowhunter world has not changed in years, you can go back to my first review of a book of this series, and you will find me rambling about it as well, I, perhaps, was not as eloquent, maybe I did various reviews into one, and it could be that I had a low start with The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, but The Dark Artifices? Welcome to the Shadowhunter Academy? The Bane Chronicles? Or The Ghosts of the Shadow Market? Oh, no, those I read with a passion, and so it was with the first of this series in this wonderful world of Raziel’s children, Downworld and fairie magic. Genres: Awesome, YA, Supernatural, Shadowhunter, Magic, Fantasy, LGBTQ+, Drama, Vacationįinally, but how I wished it would continue.īecause when in doubt or in a reading slump turn to the shadow world, and they will make your life better.
